PTSD Therapy
Designed by Veterans.
Built for Trauma Recovery.
Vision
To modernize PTSD treatment with safe, clinician-guided VR experiences.

Praetorian Studios
Mission
To give clinicians a powerful tool that transforms patient-described memories into safe, guided VR environments for trauma-focused therapy.
Delivering What Trauma Therapy Has Needed: Safe VR Reconstructions of Traumatic Memories
Praetorian Studios is led by a former Tier-1 Special Operations medic with firsthand experience treating trauma. As a game-development studio, we recreate individual traumatic memories as controlled VR scenarios built in Unity and Unreal Engine—simple, focused snapshots that patients can safely step into under clinician supervision during Prolonged Exposure therapy. Designed for consumer-grade hardware, this solution is scalable, practical, and positioned to make a significant impact on the global mental-health market.

From Request to VR Session

REQUEST
Clinicians submit a scenario request using our guided form*, outlining key details of the traumatic memory & therapeutic goals.

BUILD
Our team converts the request into a controlled VR environment using Unity/Unreal Engine tools, then securely delivers it to the clinician's
VR headset.

SESSION
Clinician reviews and verifies the scenario, then conducts VR-supported therapy during the patient's next appointment.
*Patient identifying data is never requested or transmitted

The Untapped Market
WE ARE NOT SELLING HARDWARE, WE ARE CREATING DIGITAL TOOLS FOR CLINICIANS ACROSS CANADA
Scaling our product through consumer hardware and streamlined development has immense market potential.

How we get there:
-
Targeting Alberta trauma clinicians, clinics, and private practices
-
Estimated 400–600 therapy practices offering trauma-focused care
-
Realistic early penetration: 2–5%
-
-
Per-clinic annual software spend for comparable tools:
-
VR therapy platforms, EMDR equipment, digital tools
→ $5,000–$20,000 per clinic per year
-
Calculation:
20 clinics × $15,000 average spend
= $300,000 (low estimate)
60 clinics × $18,000 average spend
= ~$1.08M
Rounded and investor-friendly:
→ SOM = ~$1.1M annually
This SOM is intentionally conservative
